These terms apply to all video editing services provided by WeddWonders (“we”, “us”) to videographers, filmmakers and studios (“the Client”, “you”). By sending us footage or confirming an order, you agree to these terms.
1. How orders work
- Sending a request through our website is not a confirmed order.
- After receiving your request, we discuss your project with you and send a custom quote with the price and delivery date.
- Your order is confirmed once you accept the quote and we receive the required payment (see section 5).
2. Services
We provide wedding video editing services, including highlight films, feature films, documentary edits, teasers and social media reels. The exact scope of each project is agreed in your quote. Any additional work must be agreed in writing (email or WhatsApp is fine).
3. Footage and instructions
- You are responsible for sending complete, high-quality footage (for example MP4 or MOV) along with clear editing instructions, music choices and style preferences.
- We are not responsible for delays or results caused by missing, corrupted or low-quality footage, or by unclear or incomplete instructions.
4. Turnaround time
- Standard delivery: 7–12 days. Express delivery: 2–3 days, for an extra fee.
- Turnaround starts once we have received all footage, instructions and the required payment.
- Larger or more complex projects may take longer. We will always confirm the delivery date in your quote.
5. Pricing and payment
- Prices are custom quotes based on your footage and requirements.
- First order: 30% deposit before editing starts. The remaining 70% is due after you approve the draft, before final delivery.
- From your second order: full payment before editing starts.
6. Draft, revisions and final delivery
- We first send you a draft (preview version) for review. The draft is not the final, polished version.
- The number of revision rounds is agreed in your quote. Revision requests must be sent within 4 weeks of receiving the draft. If you need more time, please let us know in advance.
- Extra revisions, or changes to the original brief, may be charged separately.
- Once you approve the draft and full payment is received, we deliver the final polished film.
7. Non-payment
If you accept the draft but do not pay the remaining balance, the final files will not be delivered, and we reserve the right to take appropriate action to recover the amount owed. This is separate from cancellation (section 8).
8. Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel within 24 hours of confirming your order for a full refund.
- After that, cancellation fees may apply based on the work already completed.
- No refunds are given after the final film has been delivered.
9. Music licensing
If licensed music is required, you can either provide the licensed music yourself, or we can source it for you, in which case you pay the cost of the licence.
10. Delivery
- All projects are delivered online through a download link. We do not deliver on hard drives or other physical media.
- Project files (editing timelines) are not included by default. They are available on request, and must be agreed before the project starts.
11. Storage of footage and files
- We keep your footage and final films for 60 days after final delivery. After that, they are permanently deleted.
- Longer storage is available for an extra fee. Please ask before the 60 days end.
- Please always keep your own backup of all footage.
12. Ownership, privacy and confidentiality
- You, the videographer, own all footage and finished films. We are an editing service only and claim no ownership of your work.
- We never post, share or use your work, including in our portfolio or on social media, without your permission.
- All footage and project details are kept confidential and are only used to complete your project.
13. Limitation of liability
We are not responsible for any loss, damage or delay beyond our control, including technical failures, internet disruptions or natural disasters. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the project.
14. Disputes and governing law
If you have any concern, please contact us first. We will work with you in good faith to find a solution. These terms are governed by the laws of the Client’s country of residence.
